We are a premier martial arts academy that offers the highest level of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training under world renowned Professor Clark Gracie. Gracie Allegiance Ridgecrest was founded by Coach Jesus with the goals of helping students of all levels achieve their goals, whether it's to get in shape, compete at the highest level, or learn self-defense.
With a focus on technique, leverage, and physical conditioning, Gracie Allegiance provides a welcoming and supportive environment for anyone looking to improve their skills and become part of a thriving martial arts community.
Classes offered include: group instruction, private classes, free seminars by world class instructors to members, anti bullying training, physical conditioning, and self defense training. Coach Jesus also offers anti bullying and self defense consulting services for businesses and schools.

Jesus "GZeus" Gaytan
Coach G-Zeus has over 30 years of martial arts experience and began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey as a Gracie Allegiance student over 14 years ago. His path in BJJ has taken him through numerous seminars and training camps in both the U.S. and Mexico.
Coach G-Zeus has extensive experience coaching students of all ages and skill levels. In addition, he draws from his in-depth knowledge of Aikido, Kenpo, Tang Soo Do, Krav Maga, and Kali/Escrima to complement his approach to the Gentle Art.
It goes without saying that his long career as an accomplished college professor has given him a deep understanding of pedagogy and learning psychology. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as Master's degrees in Educational Multicultural Counseling, Psychology, and History—so you can expect the highest level of instruction.
In short, Coach G-Zeus has a passion for learning and for cultivating healthy, confident community members and martial arts practitioners.

James Schoolcraft
Meet Coach James, a dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner who began his training in 2020. Over the years, he has competed at a high level, earning numerous medals and accolades, including success at the prestigious Jiu Jitsu World League Worlds. Having studied under multiple esteemed professors, James has developed a well-rounded, technical approach to the sport. He initially trained with Fernando Arreola before relocating to Ridgecrest, where he is known for being a great teammate, highly professional, responsible, humble, and committed to helping others succeed. Beyond the mat, Coach James is an exemplary father, husband, and community member, balancing his commitment to Jiu Jitsu with his dedication to family and his training and coaching. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, Coach James brings expertise, humility, and passion to every session.
